It is on record that J&K is still considered a disputed area at the international level and at times some countries had been offering mediation which India did not accept. We know that some people in Kashmir at the instance of Pakistan are demanding that there should be plebiscite in Kashmir and the people of Kashmir be allowed to decide the future fate of Kashmir. They are conducting this movement and it seems the terrorists coming from that side are having help from these people and they are carrying out terrorist activities throughout in India.
Most of the people have decided to join the main stream and they are taking part in elections, standing as candidates and voting for the candidates nominated by the political parties. They are forming state government and they are also sending their nominees to the Parliament of India. It clearly means that th people of Kashmir have decided to remain to remain with India.
A part of Kashmir is with Pakistan and it is for Government of India to take that part from Pakistan and merge that part with India. As far as people are concerned, they are not having any concern with this matter. They have stated living in India and taking part in all the development activities carried out in India.
The present elections in the state have shown that the people are not with those who had been stopping the people from not participating in election exercise. The people participated in elections and results are before us. The new government shall be talking with those who want Kashmir out of India and we hope they shall be successful in this venture.
The people who ar working at the inane of Pakistan shall realize that separation of Kashmir is now an impossibility and they shall join with the people who have taken up and have decided to live in India and join the main stream here. They shall be sharing all the developments being carried out in India and turn this state into a prospering stae. The decision to which the voters have reached is wise and they hall take part in development activities in India and one day the people in other part of Kashmir too shall join this jpart and Kashmir shall get back all its glory once again.
